Homabay AYP (Adolescents and Young People Champions for Health) Community of Practice

Adolescent and youth program that aims at HIV prevention, formally known as YACH- Youth Advisory Council. It was formed to increase youth involvement in matters concerning them, “nothing is about us without us”. The AYPs are ambassadors who assist in creating awareness among the Youth drawn from the 8 sub counties in Homabay County. The group is not registered but recognized by the county leadership.
