1.0 Purpose and Objectives of Akwandze Kukhanya Multipurpose

Community of practice compromise of youth both male and female between the ages of 10-40 years with a common goal to share ideas and to create job opportunities and entrepreneurship.

The objectives of the CP

      1. Information sharing
      2. Networking
      3. Cover unemployment gap amongst the youth/employment creation
      4. To venture into transport logistics
      5. To produce milk and other dairy products
      6. Educate youth on HIV prevention and other health issues
      7. Economic freedom
      8. Farming (Vegetable and dairy cows)

2.0 Coordination Structure

3.0 Communication and Engagement

Meetings will be held every first week of the following month for the purposes of networking and reporting progress. Additionally, platforms such as ZOOM, WhatsApp, and conference calls will be utilized in lieu of in person meetings when need arises.

4.0 What Matters to the CP and the MOH-LISTEN linkage 

        1. Increase dairy production by having our own dairy cows
        2. Economic strengthening activities/Enterprise Facilitation for AGYW and ABYM
        3. Job creation for the youth and the community at large
        4. Seek financial assistant from financial institutions (YERF and RDF)
        5. Running own dairy shop
        6. Having a warehouse for production
        7. Health being of the youth and the community
        8. Putting water and fence in the farm
